CHECKUNO / FIELD NOTES
How to check iPhone touch response
A continuous line can help expose a repeatable area that misses touch. A gap is a clue to repeat, not an automatic hardware diagnosis.

Open toolRemove avoidable interference
Dry your hands and clean the screen. Disconnect charging and other wired accessories. If practical, remove the case or screen protector and note any change. Restart the phone if touch is behaving unexpectedly.
Draw a simple pattern
Use the touch tool to draw slow horizontal lines, then vertical lines, covering the canvas. Keep one finger in contact and use light, natural pressure. Repeat around any suspicious area from a different direction.
Clear the canvas between attempts. Fast movement, a lifted finger, browser gestures, or leaving the canvas can break a line without proving a faulty digitizer.
Check everyday interactions
Try typing, dragging an icon, and scrolling in another app. Ask whether the same physical area misses input. If a problem only appears on one page, software behavior is also a possible cause.
The browser canvas receives pointer events only inside its bounds. It does not measure touch latency, pressure accuracy, full-screen coverage or a certified multi-touch capacity.
When to ask for help
Stop if the screen is cracked or unsafe to touch. If an area repeatedly fails across apps after basic troubleshooting, arrange a professional inspection. Record the steps and conditions so the issue can be reproduced.
